Jesus was at the lake Gennesaret, where people were pressing into him in order to hear the Word of God, when he saw two ships standing in the lake. He entered into Simon’s ship and requested that Simon should thrust the ship out a little way from the land. Jesus then sat down and taught the people out of the ship. After he had finished speaking to the people he instructed Simon to launch out into the deep and let down his nets for a draught.
Simon answered Jesus, by saying to him: Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing; nevertheless at your word I will let down the net.
When they did this, they enclosed a great multitude of fish and their net brake. They beckoned to their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. They came and filled both the ships so that they began so sink.
When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.
He was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fish which they had taken.
Many of us have toiled for years and have caught nothing. We have often been working for money or exchanging our time for money. Simon was a professional businessman and fisherman and yet he had toiled all night and caught nothing. Simon allowed Jesus to enter into his ship and into his business that day and yet even with Simon’s disobedience the provision still came. The Grace of God had entered into his life, into his business and into his ship. Toiling is under the curse. The Just shall live by faith and the obedience of faith which works by love. If you hear his voice today do not harden your heart. Work to enter into The Rest through the obedience of faith. His provision comes in the place of Rest and through obedience to the divine instruction after having waited on Him and enquired of The Lord.

It is vital that you connect with God, through His Son, Jesus Christ before your spirit and soul separate from your physical body in the physical death. Begin to nurture your relationship with God who loves you unconditionally. Come to Him as you are. Jesus Christ paid the price for us so that you can come to Him.
Jesus said, “I Am the Way, the Truth and the Life, nobody can come to the Father except through Me.” You need to be prepared to change your whole way of thinking to a new way of thinking. You need to no longer be conformed to the world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. The most important thing is for you to be born again of the Spirit. Believe that Jesus died for you and was raised from the dead, carrying our sins, sicknesses and diseases upon himself. By the stripes that were inflicted upon Him we were healed, are healed and always shall be healed, and we can just receive this healing in the physical body.
Receive Jesus Christ into your life and into your heart as your Lord and Saviour. Pray this prayer:
Heavenly Father, I repent of my sins and my old way of living even as I have attempted to live my life separate from you and from life. I ask you Lord Jesus Christ to come into my heart and into my life as my Lord and my Saviour, thanking you that you died on the cross in my place, and was raised from the dead, defeating the devil on the way in and out of hell. I ask you to live in and through me. I thank you that you have forgiven me and therefore I choose with your help to forgive all those who have trespassed against me as well as myself. I thank you that you have already healed me in every area of my life and believe that health and wholeness will be manifest in my physical body. I thank you for setting me free in every area of my life. All this I pray in the Name of My Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen.
